BBNT Summer Programs

"Skiers are made in the Summer"

Summer Devo:

Did you know that BBNT runs programs all year long? Cross country skiers put in most of their training hours during the summer running, hiking, mountain biking and rollerskiing. BBNT summer programs are built around the idea of developing a healthy and active lifestyle year-round.

To participate in Devo you must be going into 6th grade or older.

Schedule

Monday – 8:45am-10:15am Rollerski at Municipal Park

Athletes should bring a helmet, a brightly colored t-shirt, ski boots (if you have them), a watch, a snack and water.

Wednesday – 8:45am-10:15am Run or Mountain Bike typically at either Fort Boise, or Camelsback Park.

Weekly email will specify the activity. Regardless of activity athletes should bring water, a snack, and a watch,

Friday – 8:45am-10:15am Run, Hike, or Mountain Bike typically at either Fort Boise, or Camelsback Park.

  •  9 Weeks, Saturday June 18 - Saturday August 20
  •  $300, (That’s less than $12 per session)
  •  Or Sign up for Year-Round Devo for just $995
    • (Winter-only costs $800)

 

At different times through the summer we may take advantage of more exciting training opportunities and go a bit further afield (expect later finish time). These sorts of changes will be in the weekly email.

Camps and Trips

Each year BBNT heads out of Boise for a small handful of Training Camps. Camps are targeted at different age-groups.

The Under-15 South Fork Camp is our "intro" camp - aimed at younger skiers and first-time BBNT Campers
